painting     exhibition  HOPE  IN  NATURE

The exhibition includes paintings, pastels and graphic works that emerged from my imagination in the art studio but also in outdoor activities based on direct study of nature - observations of trees, plants, animals and birds, and finally our own pets very beloved pet cats: Funia, Macia, Mrunia, Jinx, Kini and Dyna. Solving formal problems was obviously important to me the painter is also of great importance, but to a large extent I wanted to catch the breath that nature can give through its very presence in life and surrendering to its music and elements (as if a specific wave). Can nature bring hope after time? hopeless is a matter of individual answers*.   You could also look over your shoulder into the pages of history at the times of great epidemics and finally... see above the clouds rising in up the arm of God.

*When talking about a hopeless time, I meant the time of the current plague, but then the period of World War II came to my mind's eye and the Katyn massacre. Can that red plague be compared with the current one? ( mass murder of Ukrainian civilians and prisoners of war by the Russian Armed Forces during the Russian invasion of Ukraine)
